About Us

Our Team

We are a core team of experts based in Amman, with a network of talented national officers in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.

FAO provides technical lead and expertise in food security while iMMAP is responsible for information management, data analysis, and mapping.

FAO's three main goals are: the eradication of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition; the elimination of poverty and the driving forward of economic and social progress for all; and, the sustainable management and utilization of natural resources, including land, water, air, climate and genetic resources for the benefit of present and future generations.

iMMAP's expertise in data collection, analysis and presentation has revolutionized the decision making process for their diverse, multi-sectoral partners who seek enhanced coordination and sustainable solutions through information management.

RFSAN focuses on combining these competencies to perform and report on food security analysis – encompassing the overlapping factors of food availability, access and utilization, information management, geographic information systems, remote sensing, web development, database management, and capacity building.
